left guage display

This might be a stupid question but all the interior pictures I've seen show this left guage glowing bright orange/red. Please tell me that you don't have to look at this burning orange light driving down the road. Thanks, Belvista

Not sure what pcitures you've been seeing, but the left gauge does not glow like that. At night it actually looks black like the others are.

It's orange font on a black background, so it's predominately black. Only time it flashes orange is when there is an alert, such as you're running out of fuel or you have low tire pressure etc.
