Z-Power GT Wing

Ok the time has come to talk of wings... specifically this wing
370ZTUNE.com

(Seen here on 370ztune.com)

I really like the look of it, but with this low mount will it still be effective at the track? I am (attempting to) build my z into a quasi track car, with brakes/coilovers to be my next mod, and I need a GT wing for more downforce. Anyone know how this one compares to the voltex wing?

The APR wing would be cheaper and it is effective.

I run the GTC300 wing, and it puts 1058 lbs of downforce at 100mph. Its maybe actually just a little too much wing, as it has made me lose about 5mph top end on the long straight at Road Atlanta. I can however, keep the gas fully on in the esses now, so I'm really happy with it.

I got a great deal from Scott at Fontana Nissan

plus, at the higher level of this wing, it doesn't obstruct rear view, as it sits just above the top of the window.

I got the GTC 500 and it puts down over 1800 ft-lbs of down force at 180mph!!!

The APR Wings are great! the construction is top notch and they perform extremely well!

5mph seems like a lot to lose in the straights... plus that thing is huge!! Either of you guys know what the z power is good for downforce wise? Also where do you get those numbers/how do you have them set up?

I'm also looking at the GT wing also. I like the fact it's not so aggressive. I will be tracking my car two to three times a year. So between that and daily driving(somewhat) it should work for me.

Does the APR come in smaller heights? Haven't look them up in awhile. If I can save a buck and end up with an efficient product I'm game.

We carry Ings and APR, both wings will be great additions. The Ings is functional but also more about style than the APR which is all about function. I used to have the APR GT500 and customized it for my widebody 350Z showcar.

both of these will be great additions, in the end it really comes down to which style you prefer as one wing will probably look better with some kits or setups than the other, and vice-a-versa.

pm me with any questions!

numbers from their website wind tunnel test results. I have 0 aoa setting. The GTC 200 might be a little better choice if you don't want to lose top end.

What about a wing like this?? Not sure if this is made by INGS or someone else...

i would assume that is made my INgs as it says INGS on the side of the wing

These wings do serve a big purpose as discribed above. They give big amount of downforce that helps on with stability in straight aways and turns at high and low speeds.

Try not to look at it as a stylish point of view but a served pupose that helps a car perform. Really no different from tires, suspension, and brake kits even though they look great on a car. These wings to me sort out the real racer at heart. Unless it's on a honda civic(lol).
