Default Interior Specs ? from a Taller Driver

Hello all. I've been hunting for a sports car for months now and had ignored the Z pretty much because back in 2005 I test drove a roadster a few times and was just extremely cramped, even though all the specs on the websites say the 350 roadster and coupe are the same dimensions as the 370 coupe and roadster.
Well, this weekend I drove a 370z COUPE and loved it. I felt like I was sitting long and low like in a vette. Has anyone else had this experience, and were the 350 coupes different with leg room than the roadster. I'm 6'3 240.

Hey There, I was faced with the same problem. First, I do remember the roadster was smaller, definitely lost space with the convertibles. I did feel like the 370z added some more room, and one of the reasons I finally jumped in and got one, LOL.

You won't be sorry. I'm 6'4 and fit comfortably. While I wouldn't make this a DD just depends on the person.

Good Luck!

i feel like the 370 also offers more leg and shoulder room then the 350.
in fact i like the way you can completely stretch out your left leg when driving on a long trip.....

The Z is one of the few cars I do not hit my head upon the roof. If the Z had a telescopic steering wheel, I think it would offer the tall driver a little more leg room. I sit further forward than I'd like because of this. I am still comfortable, but I can not use rear porthole window, to look over my left shoulder.

The 370 is wider than the 300ZX yet it feels far more cramped, or at least less spacious.

+1. I wish the Z had a telescopic steering wheel. I'm 6'1 and I can comfortably sit in the vehicle and fit however where I have to position the seat I can never seem to find a comfortable spot to put my arms when I'm driving.
