Default Part #/vendor for S mode button?

I am considering using an s-mode button to replace the dummy cover next to my shifter (I have a non-sport model). I would use the button to power my rear fog light. I'm trying to avoid paying the rather outrageous price for the JDM fog lamp switch and harness.

I can't find the part #. Anyone out there with a service manual? Has anyone done something similar?

Thanks!

Part# 96916E. I think this is what you are looking for. Weird name but diagram shows it as the s-mode button.

Edit: Nevermind, I think that is just the dummy cover.. hmm I am gonna keep looking, you can always email them and ask if they can sell it to you

ProfessorDave: I am going to bother you until you get this done I want to do the same, yet I might want to wire up the MR works landing strip leds and my fogs with the JDM wire harness OR vice-versa!

I ended up ordering an additional hazzard switch (about $26 shipped) instead of the s-mode switch, as someone on one of the fog light install threads was kind enough to let me know the S-mode switch is momentary.

Once I get the install done, I'll post pics on the fog light install thread and post a link here. Probably going to be at least a week.

BTW, I plan to go ac power to inline fuse to switch before running wire back to the trunk.

I'd recommend calling or emailing the vendor of your choice, I think. I tried using online searches on a couple of the bigger Nissan parts dealers, and either couldn't find the switch I was looking for, couldn't "add to cart" the part. Courtesyparts (Ron included a link above) was one of the easier sites to navigate. Look under "console" on whatever site you use.
