STILLEN 370Z front splitter!!

I've been looking at front lips for a while, there aren't many that I have really just fell in love with, until I saw the STILLEN front splitter on their site a few weeks ago. I had to have it.

Fedex just dropped it off! Super fast shipping! :happydance:

Here are a few pics of how the it came, the box was super strong, and packaging was so nice I had to take some pics lol.

I'm going to have a DIY and full review of this thing by tomorrow. I held it up to the bumper and it's damn near spot on. It's also made from urethane so it's not going to crack or chip like FPR or fiberglass.

Thanks for looking!

For the price I personally like the Stillen Splitter.

The only thing I would change is the wood screws. I would have to fasten it on another way so that it would be removable.

Are you planning on painting it? Or leaving it the factory black?

ThoriumHotdog 11-19-2010 02:35 PM

In for install and review. :)

The hardware I got was simple self taping screws. If you'd like, you could drill some holes and run clips to make it easy to remove.

I don't plan on taking it off, so the self tappers that came with it will work fine for me. Even if I didn't plan to use them, it's still nice that they are included. Some lips come with no hardware or instructions.

For now, I'm going to leave it black. I will probably color match it in the future, but I really like the finish on it now.

I'm trying to get some other cars out of the shop so I can pull the Z in and get this thing on ASAP. It shouldn't take more than 30 mins to install because it seems to fit so well.

More coming soon!

Looks nice I was looking at the splitter, it looks more like a lip and the price is rite.

In for pics.

TypeOne 11-19-2010 06:18 PM

I just got finished installing it. It looks awesome.

It's dark outside, so I'll post all my pics tomorrow morning.

I'll say it fits really, really good. If I didn't have to take so many pictures, it would have taken all of like 15 mins to put on.

 for Stillen.

take some from further away ! ;) thanks buddy.

Looks fantastic. I think I'm gonna do it.

onefastz 11-19-2010 09:04 PM

That looks great. I'm a Stillen fan so this might have just sold me on it.

Dark_Sub_Rosa 11-19-2010 10:34 PM

Further away and in the daylight. :) So far so good though!

ThoriumHotdog 11-19-2010 11:17 PM

Shots from the side? Looking good so far.

Dan Z Man 11-20-2010 12:30 AM

not bad, not bad at all..i'm a lip guy more than a whole bumper change and well to be honest, haven't seen much that caught my eye..but this however, is nice

Dustin@Z1 11-20-2010 09:11 AM

+1 vote to leave it black. The contrast looks excellent on the Red.

ThoriumHotdog 11-20-2010 10:29 AM

Leave it black but get it painted. A glossier black to match the fangs would be best. :)

;)

RCZ 11-20-2010 03:13 PM

srsly where are the pics yo.

Josh, could I get a price on one?

TypeOne 11-20-2010 03:18 PM

Check the first page!

christian370z 11-20-2010 04:59 PM

That looks great, I like it more than the EVO-R splitter. I just wish it didn't extend as far out, an inch or two less would be perfect in my opinion.

Josh@STILLEN 11-20-2010 05:09 PM

Looks fantastic! Thanks for the install DIY and all of the pics!

You'll have a PM on Monday!

kielbasa16 11-20-2010 07:30 PM

Im also right on the fence about getting this.. Ive wanted a very simple lip and this is the closest thing to that right now. I think it would look hot on a black Z like mine, but it does stick out just maybe a half inch further than I expected

TypeOne 11-20-2010 10:41 PM

It really isn't that aggressive considering some of the lips that are out. I like the way it looks, if I could have anything I'd like it to be a tad bit lower, but then again... I might regret that after I start driving around with it.

Scotober 06-12-2011 10:55 AM

Sold me on it

I suggest getting longer screws or using bolts/washers and nuts.

About a month ago I was driving and I heard a thump then I ran over something. Come to find out, the lip came off and I ran over it... destroying it completely.

I haven't decided if I'm going to buy another one yet. If I do, I will fasten it to the bumper with more than a few screws.

It would be nice if they could mold it to where it's more of an undertray... that way it wouldn't run the chance of getting ripped off so easy.

It does(did) look great though!

Gunzero 06-12-2011 05:37 PM

^omg that's too bad :(...
