Window problem
I had the window operation problem this week after the car was frozen overnight and me trying to get it open when still frozen.
I did the windows down and back up then hold switches for 5 seconds trick mentioned on here and it all reset itself. Many thanks for the heads up lads. |

Finally the power window switch for the passeger door was replaced, and everything is working fine. There is a circuit board with some chips on the switch assy that control the auto functions of the power windows. So if ALL programming attempts fail (like in my case) you probably have a bad switch.

It sounds like your window motor just needs to be reset. I know from first hand experience if the battery is ever disconnected this happens. Try this, get in the car, roll the windows all the way down, then back up and continue holding up for about 5 seconds after the window reaches the top. You can do both windows at the same time or one at a time. Hope this fixes the problem. Keep us updated.

sorry guess I should read to the bottom of the theard before posting lol. But if you ever have this problem this trick will work. The dealer told me on the phone it would take 2 hours to fix and cost $80-$100. When I went up there the mechanic showed me this trick!
