Lou, I was looking at your gallery and you have a blue 370z with custom painted headlights to match the color of the car.

I'll be back in California eventually and was wondering if you offer this service?

That link is for Xenon Depot up in Canada, they have a pretty good rep for their HID kits. I had one on my 4Runner and it was great. Id buy from them again.

i love mccullochs. even though they are expensive, its worth it. thats what i had. i had 6000k and 5000k. imo 6000k is the best for looks and 5000k is best for the output. when ur upclose to ur car and look at your lights when its 6000k, then it looks white. from a distance u see the blue but not as blue with 8000k. 5000k is pretty much white all around. but it also depends on the company too i think. ive seen 6000k that looks more blue than other 6000k.

has enyone of you changed the bulbs your self?
if you had, once you have the opened the grey door where the bulbs is in the headlight housig, do you just pull it out or twist and turn? i don't want to break anything with trying to change them.
pics would be nice!!!!!!!!

twist and pull off the part that has the wiring harness on it. once that is off there is 2 wirey clips holding the light in. you have to push them down and out to unlock the bulb, then the bulb should be able to slide out. I've done some LED's in headlights already so I was hoping to have a picture but I couldn't find one

from my understanding, changing the D2S is the same as changing the lowlights to LEDs? i read from another thread, we have to remove the wheel so that there's access to the headlights. whats the real lowdown? I've got 6K and 8Ks otw and I really want to do the installs myself.

I honestly haven't changed them with the headlights in the car. It might be worth pulling the tires off and completely pulling back the fender well.

The S2000 runs 4300k bulbs.
Like mentioned, most manufacturers run 4300k out of a stock car.

I believe all you have to do is turn your wheels all the way to the left or right to access the lights.

Isn't all the headlight mod's such as the landing strip and side lamp are in 6k LED? wouldn't it make sense to have the matching 6k bulb?
