Default CF fang cover removal?

So I finally found a silver 370 sport but it has a fang cover...not that I'm against them, I just don't know if I want it. Also, the dealer said the car had not been driven hard but I would think anyone who would put one on is probably not too easy on the gas...I wonder if that should steer me away from buying it....

Is there a way to remove this if I decide to buy the car without damaging the paint?

You want the fang cover, it looks cool. Has it been driven hard? Yes it has. It's a used Z.

if it's the evo-r one it definitely damages the paint once installed.

just keep it on.

Yea, I guess it doesn't really matter that much. I just like to be able to decide what goes on my car. On another note, is there anything I can do to tell if it has been ragged out before I decide to purchase it? It has only 20k on it so its still under warranty

Well the CF fang cover is not that big of a deal, some like it some do not. If it bothers you find another Z that does not have it on... Removing it can lead to damage to the paint, but it may not. Your chancing it if you try.

I would Check the oil level and see if there is a way to find out if it consumes oil. But not sure how one can do that on the spot?
