Well PM him, I guess. He never mentioned anything about it being a poor fitment. Maybe he solved the problem somehow.

best shift knob

After having spent hundreds of dollars on several different stainless and titanium billet shift knobs, I’ve gone back to the OEM knob. It is the one that feels and looks the best to me. I’m done.......

I've been looking at getting one of the TWM knobs, but haven't decided which style I would like better. My question though is which finish matches the silver trim pieces better in the Z, the regular stainless or the satin?

Shifter feel is subjective but i prefer a weighty knob

The best one for the buck is GRFXpressions Fatboy (knockoff of Tommy Kaira, heavier than the TK but 1/2 the price)

cooltoy 08-18-2019 07:38 PM

:iagree:

PAYCO 08-19-2019 10:00 AM

Tommy kaira turtle original for me but I paid a small fortune for it.

Prefer the original Tommy Kaira but it did cost me USD 400.00 so appreciate it is expensive but worth it.

cooltoy 08-19-2019 10:30 AM

Have you ever had the GRFXpressions Fatboy?

GothamZ 08-20-2019 10:11 AM

Ive got a few....I have a GRFX fatboy, a moddiction anvil 2, and a custom made delrin shaft knob that looks similar to the mishimoto knob. I like all of them, so i change them out as wanted lol.

A black one for sale. Great deal.

Anybody have any idea what shift knob this is? The one at the top of the page as the main image. They use this as the main image for their list of "Best shift knobs" yet they neglect to include it in their list.

Looks like it's on an FRS or BRZ

Thanks in advance.

I like turtles.

I like big butts.

OptionZero 08-20-2019 07:36 PM

the GRFX Fatboy is the same design as TK, without the stupid turtle, and HEAVIER, and CHEAPER

so unless the dumb badge means something to you, there's literally no reason to go TK instead of Fatboy

What a daft comment to make. A TK is a functional, collectable item appreciating in value unlike any other mod we do yo our cars. There is nothing stupid about a design classic which is iconic.

You do write some daft posts.

It's a shift knob

I know a girl that could probably contribute quite a bit to this discussion. I'll see if she's available ...

Watched her suck a golf ball through a garden hose one time. Then remove the chrome off a trailer hitch.

This is what my buddy looked like after she got done with him.

And here I thought you looked kind of like the girl on Animal Kingdom. :rofl2: Speaking of Animal Kingdom, what did you think of the last couple episodes?

Yeah, like a mix b/w that girl and Sly Stallone. You can see it, right?

I've been traveling so much over the last month, I've not been able to watch it. I plan to catch up on the episodes soon.

Cute face, jacked body?

Glad I didn't go into details and ruin the episodes for you.
