Reporting back on the Daytona Pro from Likewise. (https://wearelikewise.com/products/the-daytona-pro)

Weight: 600g or 1.3lb - I love how heavy it is. Doesn't take any more effort to move than the stock knob either :driving:
Ergonomics: Feels great. The cross-hatching grip texture is effective. The knobs moves smoothly and with precision! The first day of driving with the knob was of course the most noticeable, but it felt like a whole new driving experience.
Fitment: Screws down just right. There's about 1-2mm of wiggle room from the lip of our shift boot. As long as you don't fiddle with it, no issues and it's hardly noticeable. Almost flush. I'm sure you could perform some DIY to fix it up just right if it bothers you.

I got mine in "Blek." The logo, which says "likewise" at the top of the knob, is black as well. Shift boot retainer ended up not fitting as 370Zs have an obstructed shifter shaft in our shifting assemblies that wouldn't allow it to sit properly.

Cool options for Likewise logo "Dog Tags" to be place around the knob, or a personal engraving of up to 15 characters around the base of the knob for $20. I opted out of both.

The knob is solid metal. It gets hot in Texas, so I carry a rag to place over the knob when I cant park in the shade.

I’ve finally settled on the Latheworks solid titanium shift knob (piston). The feel, weight and quality is outstanding. It also fits perfectly to the OEM shift boot with the machined lip.

I haven't read all the pages on this topic, but are there shift knobs for us Auto guys? What are the benefits of a weighted knob? I would imagine that 80% is for the look and 20 for the benefits.

Weighted shift knob is just for MT, easier to shift into gears.

What do you think about these short shifters? I’ve wanted to go for the coolerworx or IRP but these are cheaper options. Curious what u think.

I'm happy with the Z1 ss so far. Noticably shorter throws and a bit notchy. I've only put about 300 miles on the car since install. It's as good as the Rogue Engineering ss I had in my G35. The Torque Solutions ss looks very similar. The Coolerworx and IRP ss are a different design. I'd wager that they both perform better than the Z1 or TS shifters. I just don't care for the look. In this case I chose form over function.

Sounds like an awesome shifter!
