uh oh, cigarette lighter not working

Anyone have an idea? The little fuse under my clutch pedal seems to be fine, yet I have no power going to either hole. Thanks

try replacing the fuse anyway, sometimes they don't look messed up but won't conduct though regardless. that's always a good first place to start. there may be a fuse under the hood blown causing it as well

The power outlets are only active when the ign is switched to the acc mode.

I encountered the same problem. I checked the sockets with a voltmeter and they were working fine. Turns out it was the cell phone charger I was trying to use. The center of the accessory sockets on the z have a hole in the middle of them for some reason. There is a metal ring in there that is the positive connection, it just looks like the center of a donut. If you lie down on the passenger side floorboard and look at it with a light, you'll see what i mean. The center console is made the same way. The tip of my charger was not contacting contacting the positive terminal of the socket, thus i thought the same thing as you. With a bit of repositioning i was able to make it work. I had to go eith a different type of charger anyways. Also, as previous members stated, i'd definitely double check those fuses and make sure the ignition is in the on position. good luck

Other than the lighter fuse under the dash, are there any fuses related to the lighter?

I am retarded, there are TWO fuses related to the lighter/socket. You need both to be working, i blew one of them.

Mine just stopped today, I am unsure of the location of either of the lighter socket fuses, any help would be great. Owners manual acknowledges the existence of an interior fuse box, but keeps the location a secret.

Ok, found location of fuse panel in another thread, are both fuses in the interior fuse panel? I looked in footwell, must have missed it, would love to have a car that did not make you contort to reach the interior fuses.

There are 2 fuses, one marked "cigar lighter" the other "power socket." If one blows, neither will function.

Over the years, due to running an air pump to inflate a slow leaking tire, the "power socket" fuse has blown 3 times. I replaced the tires recently and they were able to also fix the slow leak issue.

The one socket that I used to run the pump was the one under the center console armrest.

Found and fixed.

Default Relpaced both the cigar lighter and the power socket fuse, still no power.

I have no power to both cigar lighters or the usb connection. I replaced the 15 and 20amp fuses for the cigar lighter and the power socket. Does anyone have any idea what may be the issue.

I have a 2010 370z roadster.

Thanks...…...
