That HomeLink mirror with V1 display is awesome, wish I new about that before. I am using my V1 mounted under my OnStar mirror, need to raise the V1 up closure to the mirror. For electrical connection I tucked the 12v & GND wires up in the head liner by lowering it with a plastic pry tool. Then behind the curtain airbag and then to the 12V ignition on 10A fuse by clutch.
