And as far as calipers go, I had those painted....yes, painted.....the same color as the body, too. Had it that way since June and so far no problems at all:

Yeah, looking under your hood in the "under your hood" thread made me realize (as I pointed out in the first post) that my idea wasn't unique at all. And yours is one of the reasons I prefer body color match.

Thanks.....I really think you'll like it if you decide to go body color.....but doing something unique and different is also cool! In the end, the important thing is you like it.

2theextreme are your Volks flat black or a semi gloss? Either way they look great on your car, especially with the blue calipers.

Awesome! Thanks.

I'm think about getting some wheels powdercoated black and I'm trying to decide between flat black and semi gloss. Of course the paint on Volk wheels is probably better than most powdercoats. I have a set of Formula Silver G2s so I know that first hand.

Yeah, I've had the TE37's since late Spring last year and they still look great! I've curbed one of them but very lightly (thankfully!) and the body shop was actually able to repair it so it's practically unnoticable now. They are some great wheels!
