how to fix small hole in carbon fibre hood?

I was drilling the holes for the clips to mount the rubber lining on my new carbon fibre hood and I accidentally went straight through and out the top. Argh.

Default how to fix small hole in carbon fibre hood?

I was drilling the holes for the clips to mount the rubber lining on my new carbon fibre hood and I accidentally went straight through and out the top. Argh. So I have a small 3/16" hole in the front corner of my beautiful new hood. How do I repair this?

Will you be painting the CF? Or is it just clearcoated?

Its not a big deal, I can patch it with resin or black silicone, just want to know if there is a better fix?

Yeah I would close the hole from the back, then add some black epoxy in the hole.
Sand it down until it's smooth and add some new clearcoat.
