Disconnect the wires to your DRL lights, and then wire it to something else like parking lights or something.

Oh almost forgot. My method will eliminate the DRL function lol. I can only think of a relay of some sort.

I think ill go the easiest route and just run new wires to a switch. I heard at night they are blinding to drivers, so like with really bright fog lights they can turn on and off for others.

Actually just changed my mind. Ground a wire, another to an AUX fuse in the cabin so they only turn on with the ignition turned on incase you forget to turn them off, and the switch to turn off at night with a small fuse of course of the power wire.

It's going to be the easiest way. It'd still throw a $5 switch at it just in case. Never know when you need to go stealth

I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to wiring...so if you tap the factory wires using quick splice wire taps in order to draw power from the parking lights to keep the DRLs on during the night with the headlights, will that prevent the DRLs from running normally when the parking lights/low beams are off?

how about you just put a relay to your DLR and hook up the trigger to a fuse that turns on with switched ignition (like your power socket fuse, or better yet a fuse that turn on when your car is actually ON).

then it will turn on the DRL the moment you start the car, and while your headlights are on.

or just hook it up to your brake lights. should be pretty funny to watch.

I was searching for a way to do the same exact thing to my 2013 370z, and I came across what seems to be a good solution, here is the link for a kit from ijdmtoy.com which enables the Daytime Running lights to be used in night time as well along with the normal headlights, and seems to be a very simple installation, didnt get it yet, please let me know what you think about this as I am trying to find out if there are any disadvantages for using it:

Day light Enable Kit:

Cheers!
