Does anyone know what the little red light next to map/dome light is for? It only comes on when the headlights are on and I just noticed it. It's next

Red Light next to Map Lights
Does anyone know what the little red light next to map/dome light is for? It only comes on when the headlights are on and I just noticed it. It's next to what I assume is the chime speaker. Can't find anything about it in the owners manual.
