Badging on 2009 NISMO?

Bought an 2009 Black NISMO and the badging on the sides of the car under the Z says NISMO in red. All the 370z NISMO's I see online don't have the writing under the z badge. Just wondering if any one else NISMO was the same way?

It's just a decal. I don't think it looks bad, but you can probably remove it fairly easily without damaging the paint if you don't like it.

Out of curiosity, is that a decal or some type of abs material with a sticky backing? It looks pretty cool but I need to see how it looks on a platinum graphite color. The size looks good though. I was wondering if you could measure the length/height of the badge and let me know.
