Mine just came too!!!

3 peice with CF center. :D

Pics coming VERY soon!

Edit: Sorry no pics coming... it's almost pointless to take pictures when its not on the car. Did mock up the side peices on the front to check fitment and it was nearly perfect! I will definitely be painting the side peices. I think if you don't paint them, they will look unfinished no matter what you're attempting to match it with. Also, the great thing about this lip, is it won't affect people that have lowered 370's. The lip only reduces ground clearance maybe .25" on the sides and none in the center.

Even though the sides are fiberglass, they are very high quality. No imperfections at all. The CF center peice is pure sex and it fits right together with the side peices.

I won't have installed pictures for about a week and a half so nobody hold your breath waiting to see what 3pc with cf center looks like on a black Z. Going on vacation and will be dropping the side peices off for paint this weekend. Will install when i get home on the 20th.

kenchan 09-10-2010 11:32 AM

boostlee - thanks for the close ups. looks good.

so i can just buy the regular piece, sand off watever i need from the top CF portion to clear my CF fang (probably 4mm depth), clear coat the bare CF, and install...

Cmike2780 09-10-2010 05:42 PM

 still stuck in NY customs.

chuckd05 09-11-2010 12:52 PM

Got mine twenty minutes ago. Omw to body shop. Booost def let me know how bats vinyl works out

Boost_lee 09-11-2010 01:11 PM

^^ After mocking it up, the lip looks damn good in black too haha.

Don't laugh at my ghetto mock up :icon17:, I did it in 5 minutes the same night I received it...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...3/IMG_5685.jpg

I think it matches my headlights and mustache bar quite well

And ATX - I agree on the plus for lowered vehicles. This still site way above the chin spoiler and the sides are only a tad bit lower (wind deflectors for tires are still lower I believe)

OMGWTFBBQ 09-11-2010 01:18 PM

That actually looks pretty good. I might not even paint mine if I decide to get one. :icon14:

Raven 09-11-2010 01:25 PM

thats looks pretty awesome! lol i cant wait to see how it looks painted also...

370Z JT 09-11-2010 01:37 PM

Let's see pics of it from a distance in the sun! Let's go ppl! Haha

atx370z 09-11-2010 01:51 PM

Mine is being painted as we speak and will be completed and on the car by monday late afternoon. It's costing me $100 to get the side pieces painted with super duper coats of clear to prevent rock chips.

That does look good non-painted!! I think if your headlights weren't blacked out it would throw off the whole look, but it came together VERY nice on your car.

Chin spoiler and wind deflectors are considerably lower... love it! Cant wait to get it installed. Now in a year when hundreds of 370's are rockin this front lip i can say i was 1 of the first :D

simota1 09-11-2010 05:05 PM

that looks nice :D ^^^^

laZymf 09-11-2010 05:17 PM

finally a picture with the lip on the car....THANKS Boost Lee!!!! looking good... MORE PICTURES PLEASE!!!

chuckd05 09-11-2010 05:51 PM

It looks good unpainted from the front but the side profile may seem off.

My shop left early today so my buddy is going to drop it off early Monday morning for me

atx370z 09-11-2010 06:26 PM

From the way this thread has been going... me posting pictures monday night might be the first official pictures on the car anyone sees other than the mock up pictures.

Im anxious for next week... in a matter of 5 days im having Berk HFC's, Stillen CBE, Stillen G3's and evo-r front lip installed. I feel like im getting a new car. :yum:

Yes, you can. You will go down in history..

Edit: For those of you who wish Boost_lee's pic was just a little brighter so you could get a good look at the lip....

Waiting for customs to clear is killing me... especially after seeing that mock-up. Hopefully Monday.

Beautiful lip. Do want.

kenchan 09-11-2010 10:10 PM

one thing that's bothering me about this lip is that the factory lines are not reflected on the Evo's lip where it curves around... neither one of the lines are parallel or have any consideration to the bumper's decorative line... it's like the lip is there all on its own.

simota1 09-12-2010 12:19 AM

^^^^ never really noticed that bro

Cmike2780 09-12-2010 09:44 AM

I think it flows just fine. It's always gonna look like a separate piece unless it's molded into the bumper.

Kastley85891 09-12-2010 10:41 AM

Tempted now, would look great on my PW color coded.

atx370z 09-12-2010 12:16 PM

The body line on the front side of the bumper isn't very defined. I noticed it didn't flow well with the design of the lip also when i mocked up one side to check fitment, but honestly, you won't even be able to notice. In boost lee's pic the light is hitting just right to create a reflection to really define that body line.

Anyways, it's going to look badass and i wouldn't have chosen ANY other front lip. Anxiously awaiting for tomorrow to come.

kenchan 09-12-2010 12:28 PM

Yah, keep us posted on the picts!

Jordo! 09-12-2010 01:13 PM

Hmm. Looking forward to seeing both painted and unpainted. Also hope someone will post pics with the center section removed -- I htink it might look good with just the two side pieces.

Stanced370Z 09-12-2010 01:29 PM

Here's a photoshop I did with the lip sides painted and the center fangs painted black. It was a quick chop to give everyone an idea.

NewYorkJon34 09-12-2010 01:29 PM

Lip is going on tomorrow, side pieces are already painted.

Boost_lee 09-12-2010 02:45 PM

Keep in mind, the lip started to sag in those pics. Tape started to give way...it was just a 5 min mock up to get pics for those wondering what it looks like

So when installed correctly it sits just a tad higher on the line of the bumper

If you a chance, would you mind doing one with the center section removed? :tiphat:

wolf370z 09-12-2010 06:10 PM

Personally guys if I end up getting the lip I'm just going to keep it flat black or cf whichever I decide. I think red car with black lip would look pretty nice.

atx370z 09-12-2010 06:14 PM

I will take pictures without center peice in tomorrow when i do the install. Im not sure it will look that great. It's not going to look complete with the center section not installed. It will look exactly like what it is... something missing.

kenchan 09-12-2010 06:36 PM

Damn that unparallel line is driving me nuts especially painted (photoshop) cause you know its there but its like you're trying to hide it.

Ill have to see other angles. :D

chuckd05 09-12-2010 08:31 PM

I don't see it being that big of a deal. Looked clean when I held it up .. But I do see where you are coming from. Maybe if it was made to ride that line up it would be better but I am a fan as is.

I think boost wants to do whole lip blue and the fangs black. That's my plan but it looks good all black in the middle as well.

metz 09-12-2010 09:05 PM

Your making it drive you nuts. If you follow the line on the lip it gets smaller from the front to the back, to me that makes it balance out.

kenchan 09-12-2010 09:32 PM

i looked at my car again and that decorative line on the bumper is very distinct. Will need to see more picts. :)

Spec Jay 09-13-2010 12:36 AM

not a fan of doing the whole center area black, might as well cut the whole center of the bumper out, idk just not enough contrast for me.

neveucd 09-13-2010 07:44 AM

To those with CF fangs and want this lip...who has the guts to do what Evo-r said and cut fang cover where lip and fangs meet? to whoever would try this first. Very interested in how this would turn out whenever more lips become available, but I don't want to be the first to F that up.

kenchan 09-13-2010 10:05 AM

i would not cut the fang, but i would trim off the top portion of the CF center lip and add black mounting tape where it meets the CF fang (fujimura rear diffuser joker black mounting tape they included would be perfect for this app :D ).

atx370z 09-13-2010 04:48 PM

The line on the bumper actually matches the angle of the "fin?" on the side peice of the front lip. Fitment is 9/10. Carbon fiber center peice was about .50" short in length. Split the difference as you can see in the pictures. Side peices fit PERFECT and overall... i think it looks f*cking AMAZING!! I love it. Big ups to EVO-R for making such a clean front lip. Worth every penny. Now, ill let the pictures do the talking...
