almost sounds like it's trying to lock but something is mechanically preventing it from latching all the way and tries to re-lock? did you mess with the lock mechanism at

almost sounds like it's trying to lock but something is mechanically preventing it from latching all the way and tries to re-lock? did you mess with the lock mechanism at all when you were working on the doors?
id take the door panel apart and see if there is anything binding. |
