Dead-pedal/footrest

arent those more like pedal covers rather than replacements? it doesnt really change the fact its bolted to a plastic/foam wedge under the carpet; so that design flaw is still

arent those more like pedal covers rather than replacements? it doesnt really change the fact its bolted to a plastic/foam wedge under the carpet; so that design flaw is still going to suck.

The current footrest is only attached to the carpet, not the foam underneath. For the metal replacement footrest, if you use long enough screws (around 3 1/2") then there won't be much movement at all.

As to the actual pedals, for the brake and clutch pedal, you remove the rubber that is attached to the pedal, and for the gas you simply install it overtop the plastic pedal. Metal pedals feel so damn awesome while driving, and provide much better "feel" and grip.
