One thing I was a bit upset about is that the base model doesn't give me the homelink. I mean this day and age you think that would be a standard. Oh well I found out that I can add it. (YAHOO!!!)

Nissan Auto-dim Rearview Mirror (w/ compass & Homelink)

Plus the Installation Instructions are listed on there site also. Very cool and for $260 not bad I can live with that. I just wanted to pass this bit of info. on in case someone else wanted the homelink for there car. I just hate having the garage door open on the visor.
Isn't this the same thing? You can probably save a bunch by getting a used one.

yep, you would have to make your own wires, but thats fairly simple to save $200.

Another option is the Flash2Pass system. A small transmitter mounts under the hood and taps into the high beam wires. The receiver replaces the garage door opener switch in the house/garage. You flash your high beams twice and the garage door opens or closes.
