I installed my Kenwood 6140 last weekend and try to test it before putting everything back together. I had that unit disconnected and my "Check Engine Soon" light came up

I had that unit disconnected and my "Check Engine Soon" light came up and didn't go away even when I connected it back, so I hooked up my OBD-II log reader and sure as h..l it says "Lost communication with HVAC" I reset it and it works as charm.
