Default Quick question in regards to Tail Overlay

I just bought an overlay kit for my tails on ebay (I have about 50% hope they'll have some quality). Question is am I suppose to apply these dry, or wet? I see many pictures with people using soapy water, but it says they are adhesive for easy application.

I did my roof and mirrors with an adhesive kit form sticker city and I did it dry, do I do the same for my tails?

for curvy surfaces it'll probably benefit to use the soap solution. if you squeegee out the solution you wont have issues with the adhesives when fully cured.

you can use 50/50 alcohol and water near the end of your app to speed up the drying.

btw, if you need to squeegee pretty hard, use a soft short threaded towel (like a clean cotton t-shirt) wrapped over the top of the squeegee blade. otherwise be real patient and use the soft squeegee.

those films sometimes scratch (swirl) pretty easily.
