It's very interesting that some of u went up to 7 years without being pulled over (Island 370) while others got pulled over on the second day (ak370z)! I've been close to 2 months without being pulled over maybe it's because I left my dealer's advertising plate on back there instead of just taking the whole thing off.

I think I will keep driving without plates for a few more months. I'm gonna keep the plates with the registration at home so in case I get pulled over or something I'll just say that I never received my plates in the mail, cause if I had the registration with no plates they can call my BS.

in NJ most things are mandatory court appearance. So if you get ticketed for no front license plate you have to go in to court waste a crapload of time to have your name called then a cop goes with you to see if you put it on.

Same here..I have never ran a front license plate on any of my sports cars and so far, so good. I will be sad if I ever have to put the front one on

Yep. Last ticket was ~2005. But I had no plates until I moved in Mar 2009

Well in Louisiana we definitely do not have to put on front plates. Even if I was suppose to I wouldn't. To me it just doesn't look right...

One red-light camera costs about $400. I figured i would have to get 15 tickets to equal one red-light. I'm keeping my front plate off.

I don't condole anyone running red-lights. Please obey the laws.

Wrong, this is not approved yet, so far it's just a proposal to change the law. Until this has been approved, front license plates are still required in IL.

Dont put it on, completely screws up the frontal look of the car IMHO, its Texas law as well, been driving for 8 months with no front plate and 5% tint all around, if anything, just slide it in the front window on the passenger side.

Agreed, it just looks out of place on the front, i dont care if I get a ticket or not, i'll tape it to the bumper, pay the ticket, then take it back off!

whatever, like it's not going to pass? Just the same as the tint law that got changed. Cops were up and arms and it still passed. I'll take my chances until then
