Default Sparco Seat Cover replacement - Easy Enough.

Z Brothers and Sisters,

I just had the chance to replace a seat covering for my Sparco Evo XL QRT seat. The drivers side door arm coverings were damaged over time with repeated exit and entry into the seat. I guess at one point I left the metal buckle for the Schroth Harness hanging of the seat arm and it dug into the seat covering causing damage. No Matter, Sparco to the rescue. I ordered a seat covering kit from them and just finished the install. It took about 2 hours to do end to end. Minor cutting is required to make the seat harness belt holes work in the back and each side. You will need to remove your seat to do this right. My only knock is there are no instructions, it's not that tough to figure out. Tips on where to start with the re-attaching would be nice. Also the retaining cable that attaches in the front does not fit back together once you remove it. I had to use a ziptie to connect the two springs to secure the seat covering cable. They are about one inch apart today, that is as close as I can get them.

Noteworthy:
1. Reach out to Sparco to co-ordinate this if you plan to carry this out. Sparco will let you know the part number and cost of your replacement seat covering kit. I was then able to order the cover kit from my local race support store. Super fast shipping too.
2. Also your seat covering will need to be one of their more current product offerings. Much older seats might not ha a cover kit available.
3. I am confident that most aftermarket seat manufacturers can provide replacement seat coverings if needed. Just reach out to them.

Don't be afraid to do this for your seat if it needs it. You'll be happy you did.

Thank you to Brandon @Sparco Seats.
