Since it is affecting both fobs, possibly an antenna problem. If it was just one fob acting up, I'd guess poor contact with the fob battery or dirty buttons. There

Since it is affecting both fobs, possibly an antenna problem. If it was just one fob acting up, I'd guess poor contact with the fob battery or dirty buttons. There are several antennae in the car; FSM (link in sig) will show you where and how to get to them.
