Default Black emblem question

Hey guys just ordered the black with carbon fiber emblems and the gloss black ones just in case I didn’t like the carbon fiber. Can someone tell me if you have to cut off the little guide nipples on the front and rear before install on both sets?

There are many emblems available for the 370Z. It would be helpful if you were to post a link, so that we know which ones you are talking about.

Here is a picture of whats behind the emblem. It might answer your question.

Never cut off the nipples - very painful. Better to just tweak them.

The evo-r emblems. Black with black carbon fiber, and the regular gloss black ones. I can’t seem to find anything that says if you have to cut the guide nipples off the front and rear or not. I think the black with carbon you do but not sure about the other ones.
