When I say Canada as same as US, it's for automotive sector

I should have said North America to avoid this misunderstanding
Lubricate the pin....not the door....

I’m not in US.

Isn’t it their job to know their cars? Or at least get help from someone who does.

They only do the maintenance of the car (change oil, filters etc.).
for other problems, they are not competent.

I run daily with Mercedes E klass (diesel), when I have a electronic problem I'm not going to MErcedes dealer but at a specialist Mercedes garage. We haven't the same for japanese car.

You're from Canada , it's the same as US, I have already been to Toronto. I see lot's of japanese car (Nissan Z, GTR, Evo, S2000 etc) cars that I have never seen in France except in gran turismo or need for speed

I know you had another thread about your key fobs or intelligence keys?
I haven’t researched how they transmit signals, but there are some items that causes interference with them.

After you get inside drivers compartment, can you push the unlock button on the interior latch and unlock other doors?

it doesn't work. According to the manual, this button only works when the key fob is detected

It sounds like you have a problem with the security system (fob, antenna, electronics, etc) and the car is not going into "unlocked" mode. You may be able to put the fob into the fobgina and get the fuel door to open (may have to put car in On mode). IIRC, there is also a button in the cabin for opening the fuel door (but it's been a while since I owned a Z).

The FSM will be your best source of information - although the parts on security tend to be vague. Link to FSM in my sig.

Got curious, here is what I found trying this out in my garage.

On my 09 (no navigation, no center screen), the physical key only unlocked one door at a time.

On wife’s 16 (tech pkg) and 2010 G37 (navigation), physical key defaults to unlock all doors. For the G37, with car in “on” position, pressed “other”, then “comfort”, option to turn on/off the (forgot exact wording) “one touch lock/unlock”. That changes whether lock/unlock all at the same time.

You have a GT, I assume it has navigation/screen in the middle. Maybe give this a try. .

According to the manual, there is an option comfort but I have only language, voice recor and image viewer :/

Maybe it’s only for North America ?
