Cool concept, but seems a little overkill with our side marker lights. If the 370z didn't have the "Z" side marker, I would be all in on this.

Couldn’t tell from the video, but are the lights viewable from the back (thinking out loud, for that added visibility)?

Yes they are, although they are not that obvious

Did similar on another platform but used LED edge strips stuck onto the inside of the housing next to the glass so viewable from behind. $20 and half hours time.

The stock mirrors are big and ugly enough already. No need to add more lumps
