Default Amuse Bodykit

I've had my Amuse bodykit on my 370Z for about 2-3 years and unfortunately due to some accidents the entire fiberglass bodykit now has cracks and scratches.

I have taken it to a number of body shops to get quotes on the repair, and they are quoting me between ~2200-3200 to repair the entire kit. A lot of the shops are hesitant to repair fiberglass and I am also skeptical that the kit may be prone to crack again afterwards.. another option I have is to just replace it; perhaps find a cheaper replica of the Amuse bodykit online and have someone paint and install it for me to keep the price lower..

I saw some knockoff options online (e.g. g.r.a.m.z amuse style and shine auto project) that are very cheap in price, but wanted to ask around on the forums first to see if there are any fitment or quality issues with these replicas. If so, are there any decent companies that make good replica's for the amuse kit that can save me money? my goal here is to just fix the cracks but keep it as cheap as possible. I got the legit full kit in FRP for nearly 4-5k, but I really don't want to spend that much again.

To summarize: I'd like to minimize my cost as much as possible. Is it worth paying someone to repair the kit, or would it be better to just replace it? If I replace it, which kits are cheap and reliable? Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

If you want to stick with the Amuse kit, Shine Auto has a very good reputation. Otherwise, consider just getting the OEM Nismo v2 kit. It is relatively cheap and will have perfect fitment.

I am also a Shine fan.Had several of their pieces on my Z33.
Good quality at VERY reasonable prices. Also, made by order in
California.I'd go a replacement rather than getting your Amuse kit
repaired.

I would say the Amuse body kit is one of the most tasteful and well designed body kits for our Z34 platform. I’ve seen quite a lot of fiberglass repair in body shops over years the reason why these body shops of your choosing is hesitant to repair fiberglass because if it is in moderate to rough condition it will never turn out perfect or near perfect like you would imagine the body shops don’t want to be responsible and disappoint you at the same time. My advice would be to not repair your current damaged body kit and discard it or sell it if you can. The authentic vision of the Amuse body kit is $$$. I recommend not installing aftermarket visions of the Amuse body kit because the quality 9/10 is not there and the front and rear Amuse bumper covers could be wavy and far from perfect sharp. Definitely choose a reputable and competent body shop you trust to do your work on your Z. If you want a quality authentic Amuse kit be willing to pay but shop around, ask question, research and get Z enthusiasts opinions on the Amuse body kit you choose. Nengun and Bulletproof are two reputable sources.
