Rear speakers install need help

I've been trying to find out why my rear speakers aren't working, I have and after market stereo and hooked up all the speaker wires, I connect the rear speaker

Default Rear speakers install need help

I've been trying to find out why my rear speakers aren't working, I have and after market stereo and hooked up all the speaker wires, I connect the rear speaker no sound I've tried every thing still no sound any idea? Base sport 2012 Z

Have you tried using a new speaker wire? If you have one, just run it from the head unit (or amp if you have one in your system) through the cabin directly to the speaker just for testing purposes. If it works, you have a bad speaker cable. If it doesn't, then you have a different issue, possibly with the head unit or amp itself.

Do the base models have rear speakers from the factory? If not the pins on the harness may not be populated

I've hook the stereo up by harness so it connects right into factory car harness no amp , I want to make sure I'm doing it right I cut the wire for rear with the brown connector and just tried to hook up is this the right wire?

And no rear speakers from factory I've replaced stock stereo with aftermarket stereo to try too add rear speakers

If there are no speakers from the factory, as someone else stated, the factory harness might not support them without modification. I would try testing it with a seperate speaker wire from the back of the head unit directly to the speaker.
