Talking Turn on high beams and OMFG

You're in the forest. It's a moonless, starless night. No man-made lighting for miles. Roads are nice and twisty; but you want some more illum. Naturally, you flip on your high-beams and OMFG WHAT IS THIS BLUE SPOTLIGHT SHINING OUT OF THE CENTER OF MY TACH?

It's insanely distracting and Nissan's engineers really **** the bed with its location. Any thoughts on disabling/decreasing the amount of light from that damn indicator?

Yeah, I was thinking about that they other day. Solder a lower-power LED into the tach?

I found a piece of clear, soft plastic that would self-adhere to the dash "glass", marked it up with a black magic marker, and stuck it on. Worked very well.

Hahah! Too funny. You know what else they **** the bed on? The CSC, the lack of oil cooler in the early years, the axle click and the steering wheel lock.
