The guy who did mine steamed the bottom edges and i was go to go.

Just got mine done and it did the same thing. So i took it back and he tricked the window by turning the screw thats on the ajar switch.Turing the screw makes it where the window does not go up and down when opening the doors. so for the next 24 hours i cant shut my doors 100%. Hope this helps.

I just had my windows tinted about a week ago. I had the same problem with peeling in the corners on both the drivers side and passenger side windows. I just used a razor blade and cut the corner part that was peeling. So far its good to go and not noticeable unless you are on the inside and really looking at it. I have a lifetime warranty on the tint so if it gets worse I'll just take it back.

Bright side: I can floor it for about 10 minutes and still be within the speed limit. NO chance of a ticket ::knock on wood::
Down side: A cute girl saw me walk out of it in the parking garage. FML.
Bright side: The visibility in the car is AMAZING compared to the Z heh.
Down side: Its a Versa.

I will pray tonight that the tint will be fixed and ready for pick up by tomorrow afternoon.

That's all. Just needed to vent my sadness of not having my car.

Versa hahahaha :owned: :p I'm sawwy :tiphat:

how do you disabled the window mechanicism so the window stayed up?

If you have no idea on how to fix tint feeling better to bring it to tint shop. But in case, you think that's its pretty easy better to read this ==> How to Fix Window Tint Peeling | eHow.com

Was just setting up my car to bring for tints in the morning. I removed the door cards to give them more room to work with and found a trick to help with the install. On the lower door jam is a rubber compression sensor that tells the car if the door is open or closed. If you back out the philips head screw about a half a turn it must break the ground and disable the switch because the window juts up as if the door is closed which will allow them to get deeper below the glass seal on the door to make sure it doesn't peel up. DO NOT forget to tighten the screw so the window drops before you close the door or the glass will smash into the window arch.

If you want a fast fix, use clear fingernail polish to make the tint flush. I did this to my passenger side and I haven't had an issue since.

Add me to the list. Going back for the third time this weekend to get the driver's door redone. Almost at the point of ripping the tint off the front doors and saying screw it  But, I'm going to take the door panel off for these yahoos and see if they can get it right.

I made the mistake of renting/driving a Versa from San Diego to Vegas and back, I wanted to kill myself.. the seats are the WORST!!! Goes fast down hill in neutral though,, 80 in a Versa,,, feels like 5 in a Z :driving

2013 370z Tint problem!

1 Attachment(s)
Wondering if anyone else has had problems with getting your windows tinted?? I just bought a 2013 370z and decided to get the windows tinted. I asked the tint place (which did my old car with no problems) if the windows going up and down a little bit when opening the door would mess the tint up. He said no it will not be a problem. After the first day the driver window tint started peeling up. I called him and he said he would redo it and it will not have a problem. Now after the 2nd time and 2 days later it started peeling AGAIN . Has anyone else had this problem!!!!
