Headlight overlays

Just curious as to what yall think about the Z having headlight/taillight overlays. I would love to get mine taken apart and painted but am worried about getting condensation after

I would love to get mine taken apart and painted but am worried about getting condensation after awhile. I've seen a few 370z's with overlays and it looked good..as long as you dont go to dark. What do you's think?!!
