Sup y’all. I got a car wash the other week and like a day later, my horn started sounding extremely high pitched—almost like a scooter horn.

After searching the internet I assumed it was because water somehow managed to get in, somehow blocking off the horn. It’s been close to a week now and I’m starting to get kind of annoyed and frustrated. It’s tough driving a badass car and having a Vespa horn on it.

Anyone with similar experiences or tips, tricks and the like?

owned mine for 7 years. I don't believe I've ever touched the horn. You can probably fix your horn issue by moving out of the city! Lol

There are two stock horns, FYI. Let me know if you need one. I just replaced mine with a Stebel horn.

I think JARblue may be on the right track. One of the horns probably went out. Should be fairly easy to test if both are working. Check wiring going to dead horn - water is pretty powerful and could have knocked a connector loose. Or the horn got flooded - you may be able to drain water.

That is so true! Here in GA you only blow the horn as the second to last resort. Last resort is shooting your glock at your “enemy” through your windshield!

Remove the offending horn, shave a few ounces weight. It's one of the items on the excellent "weight reduction" sticky thread.
