VARIS Aero!!! (SPECIAL DISCOUNT THROUGH 1/15/2012)

Varis has been busy!!! They just finished releasing their new product line for the E92 M3...

http://i460.photobucket.com/albums/q...dsc01653_2.jpg

...and Varis has already jumped on board with the 370Z. I acquired this picture from the latest Option Magazine. As you can see, Varis appears to be working on a vented, carbon hood, front lip carbon spoiler, side skirts, carbon rear diffuser, and a Porsche inspired wing extension and low mount wing.

http://i460.photobucket.com/albums/q...Capture-20.jpg

Also, for your viewing pleasure, Varis has been hard at work with Runduce to offer a full carbon widebody for the R35 GT-R with almost a full underbody:

Varis is a stellar company and they are very meticulous about their carbon processes. Varis quality is so extreme, that Varis products can often be found on Super Taikyu cars.

Here is a few pics we took of a Varis E46 M3 hood and rear diffuser that we recently received. Check out the quality of the carbon:

Varis is a top notch company with a lot of values and history. If you are interested in learning more about Varis please feel free to ask at anytime. I will do my best to keep this thread updated with new info as it continues to roll in.

I think that's my favorite lip so far. If it's not $1k I may just buy it. Thanks for the pics. I'm picking up my z soon and will be buying a lip soon assuming it's not too expensive.

CBRich 12-29-2009 06:13 PM

Now that's a rear diffuser.

Kidcane 12-29-2009 06:36 PM

Very nice. If it is good carbon it will prolly be at least a grand.

Togo 12-29-2009 06:47 PM

Thx for the info Hunter, that lip kit looks great, now to see if hte production one looks as nice as that!

Ha-ha; you bring up an excellent point...as usual :happydance:

I very rarely say this about concept renderings and Varis is one of the few. I would say that there is a 80% chance that the actual product will be just as good if not better than the rendering. So far every rendering that Varis has released this year has been spot on to the actual product. The main examples being the new GRB STi aero, CZ4A Evo X aero, and the E92 M3 aero. We will see just how well Varis handles their new Fairlady.

EDIT: I'm loving the signature by the way

Great to hear that Hunter. Can't wait for this to officially released, should be freakin sweet!

RedComet 12-30-2009 06:39 AM

Varis!!! :happydance: Their work on the CZ4A was brilliant! I have total confidence in their carbon work.

RCZ 12-30-2009 03:14 PM

I like that wing! Im wondering why they have NISMO wheels on when they could have put nice aftermarket ones on there.

I like it, looking forward to the release. Varis kicks *** by the way.

"VSDC" = Varis Semi Dry Carbon. If you ever get a chance to look under the hood, you will notice two different types of carbon weaves and two different textures. This is because the structure & skeleton of the hood are reinforced with dry carbon and finishing it off with wet carbon. I wish we had pictures to show you but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to follow up with Varis during the actual show so we didn't get access to the Z34. Thank you for the warm welcome back; it has been hectic trying to catch up on ten days of missed work ha-ha.

Just a fun fact to point out...I love how Varis used a full Amuse exhaust system on their very own Z34 370Z (keep in mind that whenever Varis builds a car, about 90% of the time they enter that car in some class of Super Taikyu).

Considering the fact that it is Varis I am confident that this diffuser offers functionality; I just don't have the data to prove it. Either way, I know that a lot of people have been looking for a carbon rear cover/replacement for the rear bumper; I personally think this is a great option...just my .02

TARDCORE 01-20-2010 03:58 PM

WOW I am buying this kit. I was gonna go with sunline but seriously, I am very impressed.

370Z JT 01-20-2010 08:19 PM

I don't understand why demo carbon fiber parts are installed on black cars. The parts can't be appreciated to its fullest. Please have demo pics of it on a white Z.

azn370z 01-20-2010 10:28 PM

I agree it's hard to see the detail on a black car.

Is the entire lip carbon fiber? Because part of the lip is black?

TARDCORE 01-20-2010 11:19 PM

Just the bottom splitter is cf. I kinda wish they would have kept the brake duct from the original design. The rear diffuser is quite awesome. If I decide to go with Sunline's kit over this I will def get the rear diffuser and just mix n match it. I think it would look good.

azn370z 01-20-2010 11:30 PM

So if the entire lip isn't carbon fiber does that mean it doesn't come prepainted?

TARDCORE 01-21-2010 12:31 AM

Id imagine they are that off white or silver color that most kits are if not CF. If you look at the kit closely you can see what is CF adn what isn't. Even the sides of the diffuser are not CF and more obviously, the side skirts themselves above the CF extension.

Caravanshaka 01-21-2010 08:11 AM

WTB carbon front lip and sides...but 2g is out of my pricerange :(

eddieconfetti 01-21-2010 12:36 PM

Would those two vents on the front bumper be useful if you have the stillen intake? what about if it rains? would that cause any problems?

tazz01 01-21-2010 03:09 PM

Any Idea on hood cost? If its posted sorry just quickly surfing between boss walk abouts at work.....

DannyGT 01-21-2010 11:35 PM

I need to see more angles of the front lip, I cant tell if I like it yet...

tazz01 01-22-2010 02:03 PM

Thanks for the price list bullitt5897, still pretty new at this so which hood on the list would be the match to the photo from 370Ztune on page 2?

Thanks again,

TARDCORE 01-22-2010 08:25 PM

The hood could be any of the three carbon ones. I kevlar I would imagine would be in the bottom for asthetic reasons.

Hunter can you get any more photos of the kit as mentioned earlier? Different angles and hopefully in a different color car. I hope the front lip doesn't stick out as far as the GTR behind.

DannyGT 01-23-2010 05:59 PM

Here is another shot...

http://www.autoguide.com/gallery/d/1...4/IMG_3850.jpg

I dont know, I wouldnt mind it if it was a tad more low profile and wouldnt stick out as much. It looks a bit 'tacked' on the sides too...almost to bulky, again, I dont know I'm just not 100% feelin' it right now. That would not last very long with the crappy roads we sometimes get here, and I'm a careful driver.

So far, I just cant get into any lip thats out. I think if there was a subtle match lip for EVO-R's sideskirts then I would be perfect!

What are the wheels on the Varis 370Z?

TARDCORE 01-23-2010 08:06 PM

I kinda like it but I wish it would be on another color. I know for sure I like the rear diffuser and the side skirts don't seem to bad compared to sunline. But sunline's front lip is really the issue when I am comparing these 2 kits.

I believe those are the Advan Model T5 or the new Gram Light R57GT which is $$$$$ They are forged monobloc and are roughly 1500 per wheel.

RedComet 01-24-2010 06:46 AM

They are Prodrive GC-05K in Meister Black. Also forged wheels, I believe they're in the price range of about 900ish a wheel. Varis uses them on their Evolution X aswell. Mine's had these on their Z34 about a year ago too.
