I saw them on the Mine's car a while back as well, thats them! Those do look really nice and well they aren't as common as say Volks which makes them ever more appealing..

Thanks!

We added some new pics (including Varis' studio shots) so you all should be able to get a better visual as to exactly how well the lip and other products work with the car.

how about half price to the first buyer in exchange for a photoshoot?? :excited:

azn370z 01-27-2010 06:49 PM

I think I'm the first buyer but it's going to be a long time before I take pics.

Caravanshaka 01-27-2010 06:54 PM

shhhh...I'm trying to get half price

dainedazz 01-31-2010 06:45 AM

I want that front lip now!

dainedazz 01-31-2010 06:46 AM

i'll get mine in FRP and paint it gloss black & repaint my black fangs gloss black. mmmm!

dainedazz 01-31-2010 06:46 AM

i love the aggressiveness

ctzn 01-31-2010 12:13 PM

Finally a lip I can get on board with, I really like this.

LateralG'z 01-31-2010 01:56 PM

I will most definitely be buying the front spoiler & front ducts for my stillen G3's, and maybe the rear wing. Those are some good looking body parts.

dainedazz 01-31-2010 03:07 PM

word! i like the front air ducts! i have the g3's as well & those would be perfect!
+1 for Varis

TARDCORE 01-31-2010 08:03 PM

I wish the whole front lip came in cf. Actually I wish the entire kit could be cf since the side skirts dont look too bad. With all the money I spent on performance mods I coulda bought this kit lol

After looking at that front lip a little more closely, I am not quite sure what would be the best way around putting it on a non-black car with blacked out fangs. There appears to be a small space above the carbon area and below the 'fanged' area that would need to be painted which would create an odd horizontal line of white on my car. I think it would still be the best perhaps to simply black out the entire center section, even above the carbon bit....

This bit:

azn370z 01-31-2010 08:54 PM

I'm planning to paint everything silver except the carbon lip. I want to paint my fangs black but after reading about The problems people had painting it themselves I may not paint it.

Even if the fangs are black I think it's ok to paint the entire lip one color. I should have my lip in 3 or 4 months.

TARDCORE 01-31-2010 09:13 PM

You are going to do it yourself? There is a body shop near me that ordered both of my side skirts and painted them for my RSX for $350 and warrantied them. I don't know how much the actual parts costed but I would imagine most of that money was toward labor but I wouldn't doubt that the skirts cost about $100 each.

1slow370 02-01-2010 12:35 AM

how come the smallest pieces that use the least carbon fiber still cost almost $600 i mean i guess they only have the mines to compete with and those are outrageously priced but still?

370Z JT 02-01-2010 01:15 AM

i like the rear valence. need better detailed pictures.

dainedazz 02-01-2010 03:09 AM

Can anyone PhotoShop the front lip painted black on a Red Z? hmmm that little white thing on the middle of the lip is the brand name i think. You can probably just black it out or something. Easy fix.

I thought this was an awesome shot of the Varis wing:

Varis - GT Wing, VSDC 1360mm with Base Spoiler, Carbon

EDIT: Who here thinks that our price for the Varis full carbon cooling bonnet is reasonable? Reason I am asking is because I really want to help someone in this community acquire the Varis hood so I need to know what they need from me to make it possible. If you are interested please let me know how I can help.

370ztune, what seats are in the Varis car? They look almost like the stock GT-R seats.

I am not 100% sure but going off of the pictures, I think those are either the Recaro RS-G or Recaro TS-G; which just so happen to be my favorite seat of all time...SO comfortable; especially for a bucket seat.

GT-RR.com - ASM x Recaro - RS-G ASM Limited

http://gt-rr.com/gt-r/r35/asm_x_reca...imited/pid/105

The link is to the ASM Recaro limited edition seat. There are other, standard options available straight from Recaro. I just used this link because in my opinion it will give you the best visual.

EDIT: Just to clarify, the difference between the RS-G and the TS-G is the shell and posture. The TS-G is more recessed so it is perfect for taller people or for those who are longer in the torso because it allows the driver to slouch a little bit; due to the design and support of the shell the seat is still extremely comfortable! The RS-G has a more upright position for the shorter drivers or those who are longer in the legs.

I was going to ask that same thing but you did so yay!:happydance:

Those seats are pretty sweet looking!

dainedazz 02-03-2010 04:53 PM

the "rear half spoiler" by the muffler tips are growing on me.

I bought just the cf lip, I like a little bling. I'm not into spoilers or side skirts. But i may add the stune side skirts if the lip is overpowering. You planning to get the entire kit?

Oh ok. I'm just getting the front lip as well but in frp. this lip looks sick. it gives our cars a more aggressive look. is your car dropped? i'm about to drop mine on eibach springs with ichiba 20mm spacers. i wonder how its gonna look. i'm not a big fan of body kits but the Amuse kit looks sick. too much $$$ though lol. the wing looks sexy. once i get the lip on the car, i'm gonna try to envision and see if the amuse wing flows good with it ;) if yes then i'm saving up that $1,400+ for the wing :stirthepot:

when I saw the first real pics of the lip I thought the lip stuck out too far. Then I saw undistorted pics on varis homepage and wanted it. It's very simple and not bulky.

I'm lowered on coilovers, about an inch drop but slightly higher in the rear. I was amazed how lowering a car changes how the car looks. The bumper looks better because it's lower to the ground and the car looks smaller because the roof is lower.

In about a year I'm planning to get the 6 spoke advan wheels. I thought of adding spacers but don't have air tools.

SophiaZ 02-03-2010 06:22 PM

That double wing cracks me up! The rest of the kit looks great tho!

While we were at TAS we saw these new wheels by Advan that I instantly thought would look AMAZING on a 370Z. I couldn't help but share after reading this post:

The top row and middle row in the picture below is Advan's new RG-D (D for DEEP) wheel with all available color options. The very bottom row on the first picture is the standard RG-II so you can compare the difference of depth.
