Default DRL bulbs

Can it be changed? I wired them to my parking lights so they are ON all the time, but now I'm modifying my headlights and changing all lights to 5500K, which is blue-ish compared to OEM DRLs.

I believe the DRLs are a sealed unit, so not sure if anybody has attempted to open one and change the bulb, if there is one. I tried searching but didn't find anything relevant.

I had my drl's modded. They had to be cut open. I had the housings painted black, had switchback white/amber bulbs installed and turned them into combo drl and turn signals.

Looks great. Do you know if they open the same way headlights do? Are bulbs easily switchable?

Headlights can be heated open, the drls's have to be cut open. I don't believe the bulbs are plug and play but I don't think they are difficult to replace. The hardest part would be cutting open the housing.
