Looks better with the pink bondo, might be a visual effect thing. In for updates :)

theDreamer 12-27-2009 04:05 PM

In for updates, not sure what I think yet, but still on vacation technically so have not had much time to look at it.

DannyGT 12-27-2009 06:06 PM

Please dont design it to be any lower from the ground than it is right now...That will just reek havoc on lowered cars...

SICKEST370Z 12-27-2009 07:40 PM

The edges look a little bit to squared off. Maybe something like a splitter would fix that something like this.

And maybe a slight change to the vents, they seem to be too over powering for the bumper. They seem like they would be more in place on a widebody kit. Maybe have them flush fitting not poping out. Other than that it looks like you will have a nice kit.

what are the odds that a rear bumper and sideskirts will be devoloped to go along with this?

anyone care to chime in, i know they have parts for the 350z, i just want to know if they are thinking of making a "line" to go with this. and if its too early to tell what is everyone elses opinion on this

Ryan@MRWorks 12-28-2009 04:57 AM

Nice front bumper a huge FMIC, turbo, and oil cooler in the vents would go perfect with that urethane bumper. Can't wait to see the rest of the kit completed.

We will most definitely offer rockers and a rear to match this kit. Right now though were just focusing on the fascia. The rockers will follow soon.

ZPirate 12-28-2009 12:41 PM

I like it! I can't wait to see the final version.

The front end is one of two areas of the exterior I don't like about the non Nismo 370Z. The other is the area around the exhausts on the rear bumper cover. I like the Nismo look better.

imag 12-28-2009 02:28 PM

Thanks so much for posting a partial version. Stillen gets points from me both for sharing partial progress as well as for inviting input during the design process.

I like it. I'll wait for the final to see if I'll be getting one, but I like it. A top priority for me is the brake cooling. Trans and power steering are nice, but the vents do seem like a bit of overkill.

My preference would be to include a somewhat-disposable bottom lip for the inevitable pavement encounters. I really like that about the stock design.

you guys are awesome,

always answering our questions and speculations. i like it!

and im excited too see what else you come up with, i like the design so far but i would want to get the rest of the pieces as well so as to give the entire car a similiar theme which sounds like is something you will working on as well, soo:tiphat: to stillen!

jmlenz 01-19-2010 03:09 PM

any more progress on this bumper? I am just finding this thread for the first time. Personally I love the simple and aggressive design of this fascia. No fangs, huge functional side vents...love it! Maybe make the bumper slightly lower or add an optional lip/splitter to bring the visual height down a little with a functional aero undertray? I would like to see the wheel arch character line meet up and flow with the crease on top of the side vents ala Nismo as well. Well done overall!

Brazilbro 01-19-2010 03:31 PM

 I like it.. but it def. needs a big apr wing on the back to go with those agressive side inlets:yum:

Plasmaball 01-20-2010 04:14 AM

If the fangs could be added on i would buy it.

The fangs are modular. They posted a thread a few weeks ago to finalize the fang design. You can get the fascia with, or without.

i am liking this a lot. stillen has always had my attention and i mention them to all my buddies who have or are getting a Z. :)

anyways im in for final results as well, i wouldnt suggest making it any lower, and if u did maybe just a very very small addition.

Urbanracer 01-20-2010 07:27 PM

Nice concept but the side vents are a little too overstated, if the edges were taken off the square lines of the vents it would look better and blend with the lines of the car. Stuttle lines would be a good things for those big vents.

Josh@STILLEN 02-10-2010 04:58 PM

Good progress is being made with oil cooler locations and things with this fascia.. stay tuned..

anasmak11 02-11-2010 03:00 AM

must have a CF lip too ;)

simota1 02-11-2010 03:33 PM

i wonder if they gonna have a lip addition to the front fascia?

jmlenz 02-11-2010 07:06 PM

I hate my buck-toothed OEM bumper! Hurry Stillen!

Kyle, please put me first on the list for install:tup:

Red370 02-11-2010 07:08 PM

cab83_750 02-15-2010 02:01 AM

Mike@Blackline 02-15-2010 03:26 AM

never really looked under a 370 bumper, but the lip or idk what to call it inside the main center opening on the bumper; is that necessary? i know the OEM non-nismo bumper has it as an unpainted piece, but is it required to cover something up? IMO its quite unattractive, and id prefer to see it molded into the overall design of the bumper without making it so distintive. granted this design is more or less finalized and this opinion doesnt make a difference.
but i do like it overall, i like it a lot

anasmak11 02-15-2010 11:40 PM

the bumper is nice but could have some sort of facelift and a CF lip to make it look more modern.

ZELE ahumm ahumm..

jmlenz 02-22-2010 04:42 PM

C'mon Kyle! You said in the SC thread the aero parts are done. lets see some final pics!!!

SophiaZ 02-22-2010 06:24 PM

Buck-toothed Z?!!!! I thought they were considered fangs:shakes head: I think you're refering to the Pontiac G6 GXP. That thing has bugs bunny teeth for real! haha

DEVIL_Z 02-22-2010 10:39 PM

Knowing Stillen, there will be an "add-on" lower-lip available?

RCZ 02-23-2010 08:49 AM

can we see a photoshop without any of the fang add-ons?

TipsZ 02-23-2010 10:42 AM

Any update from Stillen on the development?

Josh@STILLEN 02-23-2010 11:16 AM

We should be running the first articles late this week, could potentially be shipping by the end of next week! Should have pricing soon.

jmlenz 02-23-2010 05:02 PM

^ thank god! lets get a group buy going Josh...I think there will be plenty of ppl looking to ditch the OEM bumper...

RCZ 02-23-2010 05:14 PM

ooh, Josh shoot me a PM or e-mail with more info please. I am about to get my front bumper repainted, maybe I'm better off holding off on that and getting your bumper installed and painted instead.

Mike 02-23-2010 05:17 PM

I already have the first one spoken for!!!!!!! :D

RCZ 02-23-2010 05:20 PM

hahaha, you deserve it after your little oops at VIR
