Just an update on the functionality. I was at the track last weekend and the temps on Sunday got it the low 80s and I never saw water temps out of the norm according to the oem gauge and the oil temps were 230ish. The other awesome thing is that the temps fall very quickly when you slow down. By the time I would get back to my spot on paddock the temperature has dropped 10* or more.

Personally I would move that center vent closer to the radiator for more effective cooling $.02

It's should be 15" from the front of the hood.

Yep like I said, closer to the radiator. Having just measured my hood, that pic puts the lowest edge at about 27 1/2" from the front of the hood measured from the hood center line ;)

Yeah, this is not how they will be installed, the post was just for fun ;) I may even use a thermographic camera if I found one with my track mates before installing to maximize their effect.

No need for the camera, sounds like the instructions have done the research for you. The radiator is going to give off the most heat & you want to vent in a low pressure area of the hood. The more you vent the radiator, the more engine heat it will absorb, keeping things cool ;)
