by the second week of June, i THINK the first set of Craft Square TCA-F with the Type-R base for the Z34 in america will be arriving. Yet to see that option on any car . . . anywhere, actually

Will be taking them for a Xpel treatment and pinstriping though, so no mounting for a while after that

CANNOT WAIT

ordered end of Feb, so nearly 4 month wait (and it still beat Varis!!!)

EDIT:
per my dealer, stickers were gonna be $25 extra LMAO

EDIT 2:
Has anyone filled in or covered the holes on the base somehow?

I'm thinking of wrapping it, hope it doesn't look odd

Cooltoy. I'm the one with the red pinstripe haha... I would never have painted them.

Kudos for being different but carbon flashing looks way better

I meant the revers of what you have. He should have painted them red, but left a CF stripe down the middle.

Oh snap, that would have been legit.

Can't cover up that expensive cf

I originally ordered mine with the type-r option but when I saw a picture of it installed I didn't like how it made the mirror stick out and I cancelled the order and just got the TCA-F's. Glad I did, they lock in place really tight without the r base and definitely look better without it.

All the black on car is matte. If the carbon fiber was matte I would have. I personally don't care for glossy carbon fiber.

You could have done a matte clear film....

Your dealer was going to charge 25 dollars to copy my idea? You know it's like insanely easy to pinstripe yourself right?

OptionZero 05-27-2018 12:07 PM

No, craft square was gonna charge 25 for their stickers

What the heck... I believe mine came in the box free... I tossed them of course. Unless someone is paying me I don't put stickers on my car... I tossed my amuse stickers too

Also I noticed you said fill in the holes on the base... that's how they attach. If you filled in you would really have no way of getting them off ever... I ordered titanium bolts for those but decided the black look fine. I dig the bolts there.
If you really wanted to you could wrap it with vinyl

OptionZero 05-27-2018 07:10 PM

Thats what I meant - vinyl, so its easily removable

Can these mirrors be easily folded back ... say when you're in a tight parking spot? I realize that you would have to re-set/re-adjust them afterwards, but would like to know whether it's even possible to fold them back. Thanks!

The non locking ones, I suppose. If you roll alone, it is a bitch if you move the passenger side out of whack. You have to keep getting in and out to adjust the mirror.
