It would only be the driver's side that would need to be folded back because of my parking situation at work. I just need to know how adjustable the mirror is at the stem ... and whether it can be moved so that the mirror runs parallel to the window. In other words, can you grab the mirror and pull it toward the car like you can with the stock mirrors?

They are meant to be set and left in that position. To move them, you should loosen them first which is not difficult but more time consuming than necessary for just convince.

Can these mirrors be easily folded back ... say when you're in a tight parking spot? I realize that you would have to re-set/re-adjust them afterwards, but would like to know whether it's even possible to fold them back. Thanks!

Dont get them if you need this option... but they dont stick out as far as the stock mirrors I believe they have a convex mirror so you get more visually for the blind spots but they are tiny compared to the truck mirrors that come on the car.

OK, thanks ... that helps!

Joining the club (soon)!

Placed my order for a set of TCA-F mirrors [with the locking/lockable base and the blue lens] off of rhdjapan!

Can't wait!

You're going to love them, I couldn't go back to my stock mirrors.

This looks like one of those times where I just have to squint really hard and hit "buy".
Most times I've done that I realized I should have done it sooner. The forward blind spots on my little car are dangerous

One of the best mods I did. Not only does it solve the forward blind spot and the rear blind spot with the OEM mirrors but they look 100 times better. Truck mirrors need to go!

Same here! If I could only do one mod to my car, it would be the TCA mirrors. The $500 price tag was hard to get past at first but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I could never go back to the stock mirrors now, they really make that big of a difference.

I'm hoping I found a temporary solution to my delayed CS purchase. Texas only requires one rearward facing mirror to pass inspection. So I just removed both sideview mirrors. We'll see how the inspection goes as soon as I get her roadworthy again. The law says "reasonable view of the rear" :eekdance:

$599 + shipping for the TC-F, TC-R, blue lens...

Mike_O_Nite 09-24-2018 01:09 PM

Quick question for you guys (while I wait for my mirrors...almost time!):

Have you applied some sort of spray (like an anti-fog) on the lenses to minimize the issue during the colder months?

I'm in the Los Angeles area, so I luckily won't have to deal with severe cold, but I was just wondering (more so on the passenger side...I can quickly grab one of my Starbucks-sourced napkins for my side, but not so much on the passenger side).

Thanks in advance for your input!

I'm in Redondo Beach and haven't had any issues with my mirrors fogging up at all. Even with our super cold (60 degree) winter months. 😁

I had emailed RHDJapan since my order was taking a while longer than for most of you guys on this thread...I was feeling left out, lol.

They said it can take up to 90 days in their email, so I figured I would shut up and be a big boy about it.

Just a few days after that, I got the email that it will be shipping soon and that I should be receiving tracking info soon...woohoo!

Now the wait begins (again).

:happydance:

Your's were more of a special order, that's probably why they're taking longer. Once mine shipped I got them a few days later. I was shocked how quickly I received them.

Mike_O_Nite 10-18-2018 04:19 PM

Makes sense, serves me right for adding extra goodies! :D

I placed my order on or around Aug 30th, so I easily went over the month-mark like most of you had waited.

I started to wonder if they forgot to send my order in, but now I知 in the home stretch!

If you created an account with them you can always get on their website and get status updates. Kind of a moot point now though. ;)

I ordered around Feb 21 and got them June 6-ish

TC-F + Type R option

Getting Xpel clear bra put on them and a red strip added to replicate the Nismo look and then they'll go on the car

Damn I wish I did the type R option... looks gorgeous bro
Fyi. I never clear filmed mine and I have full film on my front clip and 2 years later they are still flawless. Your call but they dont need film plus wrapping them with such a tight curve will be very difficult. Most likely you will have seams in the film or it will come up

OptionZero 10-19-2018 09:32 AM

If the Xpel don't work, they'll do Ceramic Coat instead. Just don't wanna leave carbon naked.

I'm really thinking about getting a set of these. Can anyone with the blue lenses comment on what they think about them? I'm guessing the standard lenses are already a big improvement in visibility over stock.

Looks like you need a backing for the front emblem.

OptionZero 11-11-2018 07:31 PM

I f'ked that area when i used a heatgun to try to remove the OEM emblem. The paint is messed up

Eventually i'll need to respray and i'll probably have them shave and fill the emblem spot and just leave it clean. With the vents and blacked headlights i sorta feel like my front end is busy enough already without the giant Z

Hi there! I got my blue-lensed mirrors a few weeks back, but have been either sick and/or busy with work, so I haven稚 had a chance to install them yet.

I値l see if I get a chance real soon and I値l share my 2 cents.

Just FYI, we order these 10 sets at a time, and attempt to keep inventory (pre-sale them as orders are pending). Craftsquare made to order can take anywhere from 3-5 months.

All sets we order include the blue tinted glass upgrade as its a definitely must!

NextLevel 11-14-2018 12:47 PM

I like what you did incorporating the Nismo red strip, very clean look

OptionZero 11-14-2018 06:50 PM

Thanks!

My shop went with ceramic pro instead of just Xpel clearbra, as the shape was too wierd to wrap

I really love that Millenium Jade Nismo you guys did, probably my inspiration for getting the hood. My preferred style is "OEM+"

The varis cooling bonnet is definitely a clean look.

He has had the full Kamikaze widebody, INGS rear, and Webersports front chilling at his house for the past 18 months, we hope to finish his build someday

But i am eyeing an Ings z power wing

Got mine in 4 weeks from rhd Japan for like 490 shipped I was the one who started this whole thread. TSA cool seeing some following my style of a red pinstripe as well on the mirror.

I'd love to hear from people's feedback on the NON TCR joint upgrade vs upgraded TCR cap joint on longevity of the joint itself.

Craftsquare upgraded their joints a few years ago, but I'd love to get feedback from any of you so we know what clients have seen, like, and dislike for future clients.

Thank you in advance

OptionZero 11-19-2018 03:32 PM

Its gonna be tough to compare

How many TCR joints are there stateside? I dunno if i’m the only one but there cant be that many. I could barely find pix of it

Does the TCR joint lock down your mirrors really tight? My non TCR lock down really tight. I only have to be careful when removing my car cover.
