Default Full carbon fiber B-pillar replacements

Hi everybody, I want to see if you guys have any interest in full carbon fiber b pillar replacements. These are 100% carbon fiber with varying cosmetic weaves you can choose from (2x2, 4x4, plain, honey comb, dyed fiberglass/ carbon fiber hybrid, spread tow). These come with sturdy brackets on the back that snap into the OEM grommets that the plastic one used. Fitment is the same as oem and these pieces can be put on and taken off without having to worry about the back brackets breaking. Each part will come clear coated in an automotive 2k clear to protect against yellowing/ oxidizing. All in all, each piece comes out to be ~65 grams. Here are some examples (I am currently waiting for honey comb to come back in stock) I will be posting purchasing details in the for sale section in a little bit.

Depending on the price, I would think that there would be interest.

SpawnAero charged between $150 (CF) and $200 (CF and Kevlar), but I am not sure if they are still around.

Covers are ~100.

Not feeling the checkered taxi cab look, by the way..

Yeah i feel you on the spread tow carbon, looked cool off the car but when on it had an entirely different look. Ive seen the spawn aero pieces before and 150 is for a fiberglass piece with a single layer of carbon on top. Id be willing to offer that option but all of the pieces i have made so far have been 100% carbon fiber. Also with all of spawn aero pieces, they did not include an easy or very strong mounting system. My pieces come accurately pre fitted with the three white plastic clip securely epoxied to carbon fiber pedestals the back of the part (ill post pictures tomorrow) so all you have to do is snap it in place. As of now I am looking at $250 shipped for full carbon or kevlar (plain, 2x2, or 4x4) and $15 more for specialty weaves such as honeycomb, colored or reflections carbon such as the example included.

I have seen the only ones an the market recently are from seibon and they are $300+ and i believe they are just 3m taped on (correct me if I'm wrong).

I would also be willing to give a discount for a group buy of 5 or more

Most orders can be expected to be shipped ~10 days (including weekends) after payment is recieved. It would be slightly longer if I have to order a requested weave I do not have.

Thats the darkest carbon fiber/ dyed fiberglass they offer. check out the reflections carbon I posted in my response to cool toy its a little more mild but has an absolutely stunning appearance. I can contact the company i order from and ask about darker blues. I would assume that the carbon fiber/ dyed kevlar would be a darker blue since kevlar is naturally a yellow color. I will also offer gloss or matte clear finishes. The matte finish would make the blue a little less pronounced.

Forgot to post this custom style that i was messing around with a while back. I wanted to know what you think about this. It has a forged carbon fiber look to it but this one was done with longer strands. I am still messing around with different methods of making this style to match Lamborghini's forged carbon used on all their new cars.

I too would like to hear about a price range for these CF B-pillar replacements.

I'm not into the colors.Although,I have seen covers done by ZCF in red and blue
Kevlar/CF hybrid. They did look pretty good. The blue was very dark.It really popped
in the sunlight. Colors in general would have to blend with the car's paint IMO.

Don't know the value in doing overall B-pillar replacements.
It seems that the purpose is cosmetic, looks.
I have CF covers on my B-pillars(from ZCFcovers).
Cost me 90 bucks shipped free.Sell on e-bay.
Been on for almost 2 years. Look great

The covers I mentioned from ZCF(the ones I have)are solid CF plate.
Also, have matching grain direction//// to the rear. They have a great resin coating with UV protection.
I'd sure suggest you taking note to the finish. Make sure it has UV protect.
Mine look like new after 2 yrs on the car.

OP you should probably contact AK370Z to get permission to sell your product on the forum. Generally, you have to be a paying vendor. But AK usually lets the small time guys get away with just paying a small fee per item sold.
