fog lights

Has anyone punched out the holes on the outside of the horizontal fins on the front fascia and put fog lights. I know some have used it for air ducts. Also a friend said I should chrome those fins?

What company? I would be worried about them get bumped -no protection. I was thinking more outside the shark teeth.
