They said because the bumper was black plastic they didn't notice before the put that sealer on it. He said they sprayed that on it to see the minor imperfections before they started prep work, and that's why they noticed.

I think maybe they cracked it and are trying to cover themselves since they'd be responsible for it since I bought it and brought it in. It really surprises me because I've taken two other cars to them before and their work was impeccable. That's why I didn't even think about another shop. I mean the fixed my mustang when it was nearly a total loss and you couldn't find a trace of repair work.
