I don't know. It should definitely prevent it from getting gouged. After seeing the undersides of some of the skirts and lips being sold here, I would feel more confident

I don't know. It should definitely prevent it from getting gouged. After seeing the undersides of some of the skirts and lips being sold here, I would feel more confident having the metal scrape along the ground, then fiberglass.
For $50 bucks I think it is a cheap piece of mind.
