As for being able to push it down with one finger I believe that when you tighten down the screws in the middle that it will then take a little more pressure to bring it down flush. These things are rigid. Yours looks just like mine.

EDIT - I went & looked up your spoiler & found that it says it is made of ABS plastic. So now I'm not too sure about how it will do. Most of the spoilers like the one I referenced above are fiberglass.
