Default Need help with wiring in a brake light flasher

Hey guys I need help with wiring in a third brake flasher. It's honestly a very simple concept, I don't know why it isn't working. I have attached pictures and the wiring diagram from the product's DIY image. I even had the company send me a new one because I thought the original one was broken. But still nothing. Only thing I could think of is, the wiring leading into the trunk actually isn't coming from the brake pedal? Not sure, hope someone can help. Thanks

I have the Red wire connected to the positive from (harness leading from inside car). Yellow wire leading to positive from wing's harness and negative on the negative (black wire).

I grounded to the ground coming from the brake harness. It has a positive and a negative side. I used the negative side off of it. The bulb itself works but it isn't flashing.

I got my M1 Flasher working with my Evo r foglight but can't program it. Not as easy as the videos show.

It just flashes like crazy - and might be disconnecting it soon if I can't figure this out.
