Make sure you reinstall the battery correctly if you dissembled the spare fob or use the original fob battery with the spare.

i had to put in a new battery in my main key fob and it works fine, used another new battery from the same (5pack) for the spare key and even that didnt work. i tried uploading a pic of the key fob from my phone and it didnt work, awesome looking key now, but only if it worked....

dont know what to do, it took FOREVER to do it too....... ugh....

You've probably already tried this, but have you plugged the spare into the slot just below and to the left of the steering column?

If memory serves, this helps to pair the fob to the vehicle... though there are probably more steps than just plugging it in.

No I haven't, I'll try to look up more info on that, thanks, I really hope it works. I love the new look
