With the map lights, license plates, & trunk you can just do a quick swap. The door switches do require more work. I hoping DIGItonium can help me with mine.

Lot of information in this thread...thanks all.

I still haven't PM'd Digi yet, but will. I'm going to contact some local people, as well as a company in Atlanta about the LED switch. I may even inquire with that Texas company. Their site says they can send me the clusters, and I can send the originals back. Man, that would improve my interior by quite a bit.

The trunk and map lights aren't that bad, tbh. I did my license plate LEDs and barely noticed a difference, unfortunately.

Yep. I don't want to make it sound like there was NO difference, it was just not as drastic as I thought it would be. I still don't have my license plates, so it probably would be more noticeable against a white plate vs my cheesy 30 day plastic piece.

Hello everyone... LED work is currently at a stand still since I don't have much time to disassemble various parts of my car to get access to components needing modification. Heck, I don't even have time to enjoy my new Core i5 build.

LED work is pretty much a part of my electronics hobby. Taking stuff apart is the most time consuming part of the process. Plus, I don't have spares handy in the event something breaks.

However, I do have plans to work on the key fob and VDC switch next. The gauge cluster will wait when I get more time off. The HVAC will wait until I get some panels CF wrapped. In fact, I scheduled 3 extra days of vacation for Thanksgiving to work on the car, but my gf planned a trip to TX to visit her parents... for an ENTIRE week!

Here is what I did with my G. It took a lot of time and trial and error! It turned out great in the end though.
